Facebook Security App Found To Be Spying On Competitors

   There's a recent released detailed report by a common committee on the use of Facebook security app used to monitor competitors. Informations on competitors were believed to be gathered using it's Onavo Virtual Private Network(VPN). This cross-party group has laid claims stating that Facebook "knowingly and intentionally violated anti-competition laws and data privacy.

  2. Limiting Vine.
  3. Whitelisting.

  Entailed in this report is that this breach in security helps to
to take a analysis on which competitor were performing well and therefore giving them invaluable data to detect possible and arising competitors and go further to silence and close down those companies or acquire them if they were perceived to be a threat.

Details show the Facebook owned app and how they were commonly used also aided using rival services, this explains why and itow it acquired Instagram a year earlier for $1 billion after successfully acquiring whatsapp for $19 billion in cash and shares in 2014, And also in 2013 offered to buy rival snapchat for $3 billion (£2.32 billion)

   Earlier in October 2012 through and email Mark Zuckerberg outlined he had suspected and with dubiousness the risk of data leak ongoing between Facebook application developers.

According to Mark Zuckerberg,
   I think we leak info to developers, but I just can't think of any instances where that data has leaked from developer to developer and caused a real issue for us, 

Hence the Information commissioner office concluded Mr Zuckerberg uknowingly gave access to user data to developers "without clear consent"
