It appears that Glo did hear their subscribers complaints on social medi and decided to return the previously scrapped special data plan which was canceled seven weeks ago, but the cost was raised this time around, with validiity reduced.
The special data plan previously gives you a,whooping 1GB for N200, and the duration of your subscription before the data bundle expires was 3days with support for extension on auto-renew before the expiration of your data. Sadly, the newly reinstated special data plan offers a 1GB for N300 and is now valid for just 1day.
The cost isn't really big of a deal but the big disappointment is the time frame, it is quite similar to Airtel 1GB For N350. I believe that somehow this plan is only suitable if you want to download huge files unexpectedly... something somewhat, however in my opinion I don't recommended this development, not after they promised us something bigger and better.
The period of validity, as I said, is only 1 day, and you can subscribe repeatedly after 24hours till you are exhausted.
Optionally, there is a much better offer from MTN special data plan and 9mobile special plans.

How to Activate the Glo Special Data plan 1GB for N300
- Simply dial *777# and Enter 1
- Select 1 again and enter 5 (Special data offer)
- Now enter 1 for daily offer and you are done!
- To check your bundle balance dial *127*0#
