Facebook would be restarting their paid "Study" market research programme, which was shut down on the Android platform for some time now.
The 'Study' program is a Facebook program that rewards respondents to share information about their app usage, helping to create improved products for the Facebook community.
Facebook was charged with exploiting a loophole in Apple's privacy policy to obtain stronger access to the device that breached Apple's policies. It was closed down owing to several factors.
The program now has a clear impression of what it intends to accomplish. Facebook states,
Usually it is via an invitation to sent to your e-mail to download and install the app and also allow the app to get your data usage, which in turn is compensated for.
Before the program was shut down, usually you'll be requested to include how you would like to collect your reward through PayPal in the course of registration, but no information about how you're going to be compensated now that has been included.
Note: No user IDs or passwords or content of a participant, such as pictures, videos or emails, are collected through the user-search program.
You only receive payment for data sharing on how your apps are used.
